    Description

    Vintage Antique Glass Bottle Ale Liquor Black - Brown 9" Tall with Deep Pontil.  This bottle is very old, came originally from "out in the barn" at my grandmother's family home in Canada.  It is black to all appearances, but is actually a dark brown when held to the light.  The pontil is an inch + deep.  I believe it to be hand blown, because of the pontil, it's sort of heavy and thick, has some bubbles and flaws.   There's a divot in the bottom of the neck (which I think is applied), not a chip, but a flaw.  Please look carefully at my photos for quality and condition.  Not a collector so can't grade the piece in any professional way.  Questions always welcome.
